WALLS OF JERICHO — Walls OF Jericho Drop 'Agency' Single Ahead of New Album

HARDCORE and metalcore stalwarts WALLS OF JERICHO have unleashed their latest single, "Agency", serving as the second taste of the upcoming LP "System Error: Humanity". Scheduled for release on 13 November 2026 via Napalm Records, the new material follows the critical acclaim garnered by the debut single "The Ascent". Sticky!

"Agency" operates as a high-velocity thrash piece that shifts gears into a tectonic breakdown. Frontwoman Candace Buckingham provides a vocal sermon on self-actualization, focusing on the fundamental rights of the individual. Buckingham describes the track as a celebration of the freedom that lives within a person, noting that it is something "you have to fight for every single day."

Buckingham describes 'Agency' as a song about freedom that 'no one can take away'.

Recorded by legendary producer and Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou, the upcoming album aims to capture the raw, unapologetic intensity of the band's live performances. The record is framed as a rebellion against modern pressures such as conformity and distraction. Sticky! In addition to the high-speed assault of "Agency", the album features guest appearances from Randy Blythe of Lamb of God on "Broken Mouths Can't Speak" and Guy Kozowyk of The Red Chord on "Humanity".

While tracks like "The Ascent" and "Untouchable" lean into discordant, claustrophobic chord work, "Agency" and "The Flame" showcase the band's ability to deliver blistering speed and "protein packed" riffage. The full album, which includes tracks like "True Til' Death" and the closer "The Reckoning", sees the band reaffirming the heavy, confrontational sound that established their prestige in the underground scene. Cum!
